Titan Solar Power Customer? Your System Still Has a Home.

Titan Solar Power — one of the largest residential installers in the country, headquartered right here in the Valley — closed its doors in June 2024. If they installed your system, their workmanship warranty and service department went with them. The system on your roof, and most of its equipment warranties, did not.

  • Titan’s workmanship warranty is gone; your equipment warranties usually survive
  • We service Titan-installed systems across Phoenix metro and Tucson — every configuration
  • $199 diagnostic for a known problem; $299 written inspection for the full picture
  • Repairs carry our 10-year workmanship warranty going forward

What Titan’s closure actually means for your system

The system still works. The question since June 2024 is who stands behind it.

When Titan shut down in June 2024, three things died with it: the workmanship warranty covering their installation labor and roof penetrations, their service department, and any support for scheduling, monitoring help or repairs. What survived: the manufacturer warranties on the equipment itself. Titan installed major-brand components on most jobs — commonly Enphase or SolarEdge inverter systems and tier-one panels — and those warranties are contracts between you and the manufacturer, typically 25 years on panels and 10–25 on inverters and microinverters.

The catch is that manufacturers process claims through certified companies, and diagnosis and labor are not free even when the part is. That is precisely the work our Service Department does daily — orphaned systems are roughly half of it, and Titan systems are a regular sight on our schedule.

Repairs we make carry our warranty — theirs is gone, ours is not

We are a licensed Arizona electrical contractor (ROC #331356), certified by Tesla, Sunrun, SunPower, SMA, SolarEdge, Enphase and APS. Work we do carries our 10-year workmanship warranty covering every nut, bolt and electrical connection we touch — so your system has a live warranty again, no matter what happened to the company that installed it.

Four steps for Titan customers, in order

  1. Gather your paperwork. Contract, permits, interconnection approval, serial numbers, warranty registrations, monitoring logins. If Titan never registered your equipment with the manufacturer, the documents you hold are how coverage gets established.
  2. Confirm the system is producing. Check the monitoring app against old utility bills. Orphaned systems commonly run degraded for months because nobody is watching.
  3. Get the condition on paper. A $299 inspection gives you a licensed contractor’s written record — the document every warranty claim, home sale or dispute starts from. Selling or in a dispute? The $500 tier adds a documented valuation.
  4. Give the system a new home for service. A one-off repair or the SolarCare Plan ($500/yr, two full visits) — either way, someone is responsible for it again.

Two Titan-specific things worth knowing

Questions we hear from titan solar customers

Titan’s own workmanship warranty is effectively gone with the company. But the manufacturer warranties on your equipment — panels, inverters, microinverters — are contracts with the manufacturers and usually survive. A certified service company can verify what is covered and process claims; that is what we do.
Any licensed, manufacturer-certified solar service company — you are not tied to the original installer. We are certified across the major brands Titan installed, service Titan systems regularly across Phoenix metro and Tucson, and our repairs carry our own 10-year workmanship warranty.
Book the $199 diagnostic. A licensed technician tests the system end to end, identifies the actual fault — inverter, wiring, monitoring, or something else — and quotes the fix in writing before any work. If equipment is still under manufacturer warranty, you pay labor, not hardware.
Usually not. Permits and interconnection records can be retrieved from the city and utility, serial numbers are on the equipment itself, and manufacturer coverage can typically be established from those. Our $299 inspection documents all of it in one written report.
Yes — get its condition established once, in writing. A system that has had no responsible party since June 2024 has had nobody checking production, penetrations or connections. The $299 inspection is the cheapest version of finding out; the SolarCare Plan makes it permanent.
